Other Info:
There's a moment I'm ready for — holding a child who carries my eyes, watching them discover the world, teaching them to climb and fall and get back up.
Hi, I'm Curt — movement educator, author, founder of Kong Academy (we've served 100,000+ kids through play-based learning), devoted partner, and stepdad to two amazing teenagers.
I'm here because I'm ready to become a biological father and be fully present in raising a child. I want to participate in the life cycle, to see myself reflected in someone's eyes, and to co-create a family that's built on clear values and mutual respect.
My situation:
I have a life partner who fully supports this journey. This isn't about replacing what we have — it's about expanding our family intentionally. I'm looking for someone who wants to co-parent with me, whether that's shared custody, collaborative households, or an arrangement we design together. I'm open to exploring what works best for everyone involved.
My core values:
Being responsible — I show up. I follow through. I do what I say I'll do.
Being respectful — I treat people with dignity, listen deeply, and honor boundaries.
Telling the truth — I communicate honestly, even when it's difficult.
Being grateful — I appreciate what I have and the people in my life.
Being a helper — I'm here to support others, serve, and make things better where I can.
About my life:
I teach social-emotional skills through movement and play. I train (muay thai, lifting, bouldering, skiing), spend time with friends and family, and create things I'm excited about. Movement is how I understand the world and how I teach — I believe kids (and adults) thrive when they're given space to move, explore, and grow.
What I'm looking for in you:
Someone who:
Genuinely wants to be a parent (not just open to it — truly wants it)
Is healthy, in shape, and loves to move and play
Is comfortable with non-traditional family structures
Shares these values: responsibility, respect, truth, gratitude, and service
Can communicate openly and work together on co-parenting with mutual respect
Wants to be fully present in our child's life
What this isn't:
This isn't casual. This isn't "seeing where things go." This is about intentionally creating family with someone who's ready for the responsibility, joy, and complexity of parenthood.
If this resonates and you're someone who's been looking for a path to parenthood that honors everyone involved, let's talk.
