Other Info:
Starting to explore the possibility of donating sperm. My partner is supportive of this but entirely uninvolved. Overall, I am healthy and my family history is largely genetically healthy (I have a relative with Type I Diabetes). I'm a bit out of shape now owing in large part due to some lifestyle changes over the past few years (including disruptions due to COVID-19), but I previously I was an active runner and earned the equivalent of a black belt in a martial art. I also like to read, and I write a lot for work.
I'm primarily interested in donating via NI, but I'm open to discussing things. If NI is used, I would want to get strong legal agreements in place to protect each of our interests. I'm open to discussing the amount of contact: I'm fine with absolutely no contact with the child, but I'm also fine with on-going contact. I have zero interest in co-parenting, though. For the right couple and situation, I'm willing to travel anywhere within Canada and the US, but jurisdictional requirements would definitely factor in (e.g., I believe Ontario has favourable laws for NI donation, while some other provinces/states do not). I'm absolutely open to talking about this further - perhaps our interests/needs won't align, but perhaps they will.
I am a strong 2SLGBTQIA+ ally and believe Black Lives Matter - I'm only interested in working with couples who agree with these views (which is really about basic human dignity and respect).
Realistically, I'm not sure what to put here, so the above is what I came up with. While it is unlikely to be a problem, I'm quite nervous about sharing pictures publicly on here due to my employer. (I am generally a risk-averse person.) I am a real person (as I hope the above text conveyed) and am willing to share pictures once we start talking. I also don't have Premium because I just signed up, but if I start to get messages I'll purchase that.
