Other Info: Gay academic in New Jersey, open to a lot of possibilities. I got my BA in math and philosophy at Columbia, then a PhD. I bounced around careers in my 20s and early 30s (from business to journalism to comedy writing), but I'm now a professor in a science at a large state university. I've been in a monogamous relationship since 2010, and I would describe myself as pretty chill and stable, but not boring.
