Other Info:
I am in my mid 30s and saving and planning to have a child by 40. I have sperm saved and am pretty interested in parenting and being a legal mother to a child who I'm genetically related to, although I would also consider adoption if this fails. I am interested in finding someone interested in carrying a child (I'm willing to cover necessary expenses) and in finding a coparent, or someone who would like to do both. I'm interested in coparenting in a somewhat unorthodox framework. I am non-monogamous and in a stable relationship with a partner of 5 years who is not interested in having children. I live in an apartment building I co-own with my partner and our three friends. I have a unit to myself that is large enough to raise a child in. My partner and friends are very supportive of my goals and are a wonderful community, however, none of them are interested in being fully responsible for a child. That said, I do have a fair amount of support and might attempt to be a single mother with the help of someone who can give birth, if I don't find a coparent.
I am Jewish and my culture, traditions, holidays, spirituality, and community are important to me. However, I am not dogmatic about it, have somewhat agnostic personal beliefs, and am open to coparenting with someone of any religion or no religion. I also reject Zionism as a political ideology. I prefer to coparent with someone if their values around inclusion, social justice, liberation, collectivism, anti-authoritarianism and equality are in a similar place to mine. Must respect people's genders, including pronouns (words like she/her or they/them to describe someone), and generally be a respectful, caring, cooperative person. A sense of humor and enjoyment of a good time also appreciated!
